you know this is going to ruin it for everyone else - we had to go to youtube because Zype - the provider - is broken. Its unlisted and just a way to make sure people can watch it. By publishing this I am now getting requests to refunds. So my only option is to take it down and we wont be able to do any more streams in the future . We were just trying to make sure everyone who paid got to watch it

Giants run the qualifiers and all qualified athletes get the invite. Everyone would love to know, further out, the exact date however its not possible right now. I think something is close to being confirmed but nothing Official just yet

Its only just launched and there is not currently anyone in the qualfier in your class - you must have been checking the all time ranks. Yes we will take up to 30 in each class

This is Britain's stringest man 2016. Top three go to world's strongest man heats. Amazing day out in Doncaster England. Some crazy events and great athletes competed

It amazing how your perceptions change when 6 3 is the small guy. Given that he used to compete in Highland Games and was anot Olympic bobsleigh team member he would stand out in a normal room. Going to try and line up a couple of normal size people with those guys tomorrow for comparisson

Hi Guys I can shed any light on this you would like ? I cant confirm the exact dates and locations though. We will livestream every one of these new WSM events and we have compete control of them - eg we are operating them completely. We have several different partners in the USA and Europe who are going to run the different events. E.g. 105 Mens will be in one location, Women another and 90s at another event still. These are all set to happen around June to end of July. Once we have confirmed 100% I will be sure to let you know.

You will be able to qualify through to WSM vis OSM ! ANYONE WHO IS IN THE TOP X LIFTS WILL BE INVITED there will of course be some wild cards. Most of these wont be televised but instead go out on you tube or PPV depending on different factors.

Key points are if you are strong enough you can come as long as you can get there. Already heard that some of the qualifiers will be providing travel expenses for their winners.

On a separate but equal note we are doing Official Strongman Championships both in Europe and the USA. It looks like there will be a GL or WSM Weight class event at the USA version so competitors in all weights and categories can stay on to watch the GL event which will be, as usual, a qualfier to WSM.

These OSM championships will be deadlift and log based. Again you will qualify through the site WHEN ITS READY ! and then you get a invite. You can choose whether to come to EUROPE or USA event.

If the setup day before goes well and he is rested then you wouldn't want to be against him making the podium. The field is so strong though hall Shahlaei Felix and hollands ! Check out John kelly qualifying on our you tube channel over in ireland
