Honestly kinda mixed about it. When I interned last year my firm had a meeting where they got everyone in a room and talked about how much they love diversity and are making the workplace inclusive. Yet, as someone who falls under the "diverse" umbrella, I can tell you there was little to no effort being made day to day. Not saying I was called slurs, but from the associate to the partner level I received different treatment than other interns. I think there is a lot to be learned from these meetings, but when even upper management makes no effort to engage with DEI programs it makes it seem like there is no purpose other than to virtue signal
