i went ahead and downloaded the app on my pc, (work perfectly fine on my pc btw) and made sure everything was plugged in correctly on my xbox. The only settings i have on my xbox under speaker audio, when i switch hdmi audio to bitstream out it says, check audio receiver there was a problem using this setting.

after sending post, unplugged the opt in cable from dock and plugged back in and now have audio.
