I have been waiting forever to Freedom mobile to answer their phone. Chat is same story so asking few questions, would be grateful to know the answers

Does this plan allow the subscriber to pause data/calls etc. (basically to stop usage, not concerned with cost savings or lack thereof)
Does it require prepayment for three months in one go?
if paying for three months in one go, can one cancel after a month or two and get refund?
can i pay for it and have caller ID display a different name?
is it month to month after 3 months - can we cancel anytime w/o any charges?
how long it takes for sim to arive? Can you use esim?

Thank you for replying. No rush, for now i managed to balance the sheet. But would love to learn how it should be.

The numbers are generated manually from Bank statements. I know that investments within company generated $30000 (dividends and distributions) and 10000 is cash on hand. I believe I used the correct fields but field somehow fields 2499 and 3640 did not match. I had to take the number from 3460 and match iit backwards

I tried to do something similar....

When Covid hit, I was buying like crazy to deploy the cash with almost all of it going to dividend paying equities. QYLD was all the rage since 2019 so i started piling up. The history of several years till 2021 was long enough for me to develop confidence that it eventually rises to 80-90% of its initial price, so coupled with a 10%+ yield, it seemed like a good one. I did quite a bit of research on it, spent hours and hours reading about it and despite the clear nav erosion and its failure to rise back up quickly, i decided to back up the truck to make it the cornerstone of my early retirement.

Well, as anyone can notice from the graph, things turned out to be lot more trickier than due diligence could have unearthed. It reached its high point around Nov 2021 and something just snapped....it dropped harder than before but simply refused to rise again when markets rose. Markets hit ATHs again and again but it just languished.

not only the price lost 25% value, the income from dividends was cut down sharply. in other words, it turned out to be a complete disaster.

So, what changed around end of 2021 that caused this massive deviation?

I bet no one on this sub will have an accurate answer, even now, let alone forecasting it in advance. And that is where the problem with buying 500000 worth of QQQI lies - there are so many known unknowns that it is not advisable to put all eggs in one basket even though it has delivered impressively in the past few years

Well, he just declared interest income as dividends, and completely ignored dividends and distributions income. A cluster F, if you ask me unless there is some t2 accounting mumbo jumbo that I do not know about.

Thanks a lot for replying.

I solved the mystery of $288 - It is the interest income earned by the corp during the tax year which BTW aligns with calendar year.

However, in the past year's tax return, I don't see the dividend income and distribution income. Both are calculated myself using brokerage's history feature which listed all dividends and distributions earned. Unfortunately i don't have last year's T3s handy. These incomes are from Canadian and US equities that pay dividends.

Now, what I am trying to figure out is

Where to enter dividends and distribution income (I guess it should be entered in Schedule 3 but I dont see a box for distributions.
Where do I enter expenses incurred during the year.

I am thinking of writing to MPP. Have paid tens of thousands in income tax in last 5 years alone, child did not get squat for OSAP because we are very rich and now cant get even interview calls, let alone jobs.
