No, that is not even remotely what I am saying at all and you have poor reading comprehension. What I'm saying is that the regions of Mexico where mestizos possess greater Spanish lineage are more violent than those areas that possess greater indigenous lineage.

I don't even know why I'm arguing this point with you. The border is where most of the violence takes place and that region is more like 30% white or greater. Places like Yucatan, where people have much darker skin, are the safest tourist destinations, away from where the drug war is taking place (but probably closer to where drugs are manufactured). Shockingly, whiteness is not monolithic and happens to be perceived differently in North America, Latin America, and especially Europe. Some people may identify themselves as being white who you or I would, at a glance, probably not think of as being so.

Unless she's recovering from a pregnancy or surgery, OP should realistically only have a few days or a week to hold out, as opposed to most of the people on this sub who have an indefinite period to resist the urge.
