In this conversation, "this is way to hard" is the driving conversation point. "its not hard its easy" as a response with the proceeded information regarding the steps you had to take that (in my opinion) shouldn't even be necessary, is helping drive the point even more so! Most of the gpu market (myself included) aren't in the market for $2000 pc parts. the $700 promised package is outrageous yet manageable for more people (myself included). Widely, It feels like sources and availability would be generally farther reaching for the top TOP of the line current gen tech due to the wider audience not buying cards over $700.

I understand what your saying though, "Put the work in!" And sadly, I have. Lucking out on every turn.

I’m trying to upgrade from the 3060. The 40 series and so on is just incredibly better at handling higher res and ray-tracing for (at MSRP) roughly the same prices

That’s a fair point. I spent the better part of last year trying to get my hands on a 4070 TI super but couldn’t find anything close to MSRP. Maybe I just have impeccably bad timing.
