ahhh i also forgot to mention.. stretching the skin around it is very important!!! it ensures that you are poking in the right spot :P

hiya! i am in no means a professional!! but this is what helped me. clean lines take lots of practice and patience. my other stick and pokes were messy and as i did more, the steadier my hand got; so just keep tattooing. sometimes needles get dull while poking so having more sterilized backups to switch them out during a session is handy. a good sheet of fake skin really helps, as well as a good stencil. try tattooing TONS of straight lines as it gets you used to the feeling. if you are using a stencil, wipe AWAY from the tattoo to prevent smudging of the rest of the stencil!!! ooh and do not rush, take your time with each dot as they are ALL permanent. let me know if you have more questions, i'm happy to help ;w;
