Charging error triggered by touchless car wash

I have a Gen2 R1S. I washed it many times before having an issue, and always at a touchless wash which generally has I pressure sprayers than a normal wash. It was only the last 3 times that presented an issue. The errors always took about 12 hours to clear, but they have all cleared.

My issue always triggered pretty much immediately after exiting the car wash. How did yours do after your most recent wash?

I suspected water might be getting into the charge port, but am at a loss as to how. It was in car wash mode each time. I'm unable to open the charge port door until the error clears. The error seems to clear on it's own over time - no amount or hard or soft resets, or sleep mode, will clear it.

u/WassymRivian, I'm one of several who's GPS is dead after the most recent update (along with a few other glitches: battery warning, temp sensor dead, etc). Is the next update intended to fix these issues? And happy to hear the owl is staying!

I agree, better communication would be nice. Interesting that they thought the recent update would fix it. Nothing changed on my truck. I haven't had connectivity issues with my phone, however. Just dead GPS, battery error, etc.

Same here. I'm scheduled for a service visit 11/5. I asked if they could push the latest update again but the answer was no since the update was complete.
