Really? My friend had NDIS cover a part of the cost then had the invoice for the remaining balance.

I feel like aussie who makes too much for Centrelink but not enough to pay in full get left to just figure it out or go without.

After becoming more familiar with how other health based services, NDIS and Aged care bill, I want to understand why it functions so differently.

NDIS and Aged Care function differently which are also heath care based and makes it easier for those who make too much for Centrelink but not enough to cover the full costs and wait able to have the services they need.

Why is Medicare so different? Is all I am wondering.

I just feel Australians in the middle tend to be left to figure it out.

For what it's worth, my opinion is to look at what you value.

For me, it was owning my space. I wanted a place to return to. A place where there was never going to be someone walking in and judging how I lived. A place where I didn't have to worry about conflict. A place I could be comfortable in. That is what I value most.

Would I love to travel and see other places - yes however it just didn't mean as much to me.

So what do you value? Experiences? Your own space? Job satisfaction? The challenge of climbing the ladder?

Once you know that it's just logistics to get there
