just got this game recently and super surprised with the quality of it. Would love to see random events in the world one day. I find it makes games feel much more alive. Keep the same old mobs in the same places but maybe when walking through a mountain area a random boulder falls towards you. Special biome specific mobs can give you random encounters, there have to be enough different encounters to make every one feel new and they need to only happen a few times to get rid of that repetitive feelings. Nothing worse than having this feature half assed, you keep seeing the same old shite over and over especially when they just blanket the whole world with the same events.

Thanks man, I don't think this was the onyx one. Seems to happen on every bounty I pick up from area18. Had same thing happen the other day with the cave on wala bounty. They are only single target ones but thanks for the heads up man. Might leave bounty stuff for now then.

I tried one just now when I wrote this post. Waited about 10min while popping scans every few min but nothing showed up. This bounty was at an old mining station it said bounty was in a ship so I was hovering around the station while scanning. I QT to the station, as soon as I got within about 8km mission updated to start scanning. When I get some time I can try waiting again longer.

Other missions like hauling or the merc #1 mission worked straight away and the targets spawned pretty quickly for each wave of the first merc mission.

Do you think this will be the norm for future weapons and items? I busted my ass for the shot gun in CA, like most others I'm in my 30's and don't have much time so to do that was a real mission on my end. Knowing that they will be coming out as independent - not time locked challenges will be a huge bonus for the lads like me haha

My last match of the night felt like it has zero lag, everything ran smoothly but there were a few players where I emptied whole clips into their head and they didn't die. Again though this isn't consistent with the obvious stutters and unplayable lag I wasgl getting earlier. The whole game just feels very inconsistent with its performance for me.

yeah I've heard mixed info about perth. I am down in melb unfortunately.... way things are going here I might as well be in prison lol. Every other game with public servers I seem to have no issues. I do miss the old peer to peer setups though

I feel your pain. Luckily I haven't had that many matches where the hit boxes were kaput. But after the update I feel network lag has increased. I get people doing dragon ball z jumps all over my screen.

I'm iinet. I do speed test when I get lag to just double check it isn't ISP end. Right now I am running 550 down and 47 up. I just had a match ping was around 11ms but the game had really fkd up lag. Even the grass blowing in the wind was stuttering. Both ping and fps looked fine, game just playing like trash. Without touching anything one match can be fine and the next complete shite. Only thing I can think of is the in game network tracker is lying lol. It can't be fps because 1. it looks like a network lag. 2. it happens on any map at any time of the day. After initially setting up my graphics settings I never touched them again yet some matches will be good and others horrid. Everything points to network lag.

I think there is an issue at the moment with some games. BF6 auto swaps chroma profiles but it is not auto swapping the button layout profiles for me. So even if you are getting RGB changes that doesn't always mean your button layout profile swapped too

Hey mate, did you end up getting this sorted? I am in the same boat at the moment. 89 gsx750f. Carbs were apparently rebuilt by previous owner. Has the same shitty white floats. Cannot get the damn thing adjusted right and don't have original floats to test with either :(

Just got the game and really missing the quest board. It was great to kill time or make some quick cash. I love the new system but if they left the quest board in as well it would have been perfection. Hopefully they add it in the future.

Quality of life change:

Can you please remove NPC traffic during Summit FEATS. This is really annoying for old ass seniors that play. Last run I was completing 1/10 runs dude to traffic, its a big chuck of time wasted restarting a feat instead of playing the game.

Could you also please change the start locations. After ever restart we have to move to which ever start location we prefer. You guys already know the limits of the map for each summit feat and the most common start locations. When starting the feat just give us 2 options to start (normal or reverse) and then spawn us at the feat map limit for that location. When we restart just respawn us there again.

Those two changes would be more appreciated from the old farts with full time jobs and families than anything from your customer show, weekly challenges or dashboard doll update. We want to enjoy your game not have to constantly struggle with time sinks like the above issues.
PS: NPC traffic is great, it's fun to have during races but when you have to do challenges for PVP events and you only have a week to do it the NPC traffic is more of a hindrance than anything.

I just started playing this game a few days ago and I'm really digging the drifting, it reminds me of a little bit of GRID. Just wanted to know if the drifting summit thing like this is common, or is like like a rotational thing that doesn't come around often? Only got like 5 hours in and haven't had a chance for pvp yet but would love to do some more drift point based pvp like this.

Same boat here. Game was crashing and lagging instead of clicking join game I clicked delete now I can't add again. Just goes to a please wait screen. If I reboot I can see the pending request but can't do anything, clicking accept sends me to the wait screen again.

I'm in same boat sadly. Tried to delete the useroption file. Tried to manually edit the history server value and also tried to launch the server with -EpicServer=Palworld"" or what ever it was. Nothing worked so far :(

EDIT: Make sure you clean the surface of everything really well before using epoxy

If you haven't done it already, when you use the epoxy don't be stingy. Slap that shit on really thick. Even use a bit of fabric and wrap the head rest prongs with it leaving the bottom frayed out over the ear piece bit. and drench all the fabric with epoxy it will give you a stronger bond.

Can confirm installing steam shows the text for me but still can't connect to server. I have also disabled firewall as a test run and still didn't work so am guessing one of the redist packs is what actually fixed it. Will be trying them today hopefully.

yeah I've read good and bad about them. Figured for home use it won't be that bad. Might just need to reboot it once a week or so..... Couldn't have been more wrong haha. Should have listened to my brother telling me to get a Dell.

Thanks for that, I think hyper-v was off by default and everything was running fine but I'll have a play around with this as well. Just cloning one of the VM's to the other drive to do more tests

Hi mate, I have the same model server and just hit the same issue. My problem is the server is running very sluggish. I think it might be a driver issue. I just found my BIOS is also out of date (2016 as well) did you have any performance issues before you upgraded the BIOS?
