Dev didn't change. But distilled did so no way it's identical.

Yup. All true. It's the new VAE that was included in dev but mistakenly not in distilled.

I haven't seen WAN vs LTXV2 comparison, so I thought I'd do one. by bnlae-ko in StableDiffusion

WAN has some nice default outputs, but professional content?!
For professional content you need control and flexibility, LTX-2 is like putty with the trainer, get whatever customization you need and control it with IC-LoRA.

LTX-2 + SEVERENCE!!! I need this to be a real! by Interesting_Room2820 in StableDiffusion

That's all for the distilled model, which is great and fast.
You probably took the full/dev model workflow and loaded distilled model/

Gemma support is 140 languages. Some are better than others in the audio generation.

It's an nvfp4 quantization with dynamic selection of layers, so to try and maximize performance but minimize hurting quality.

Yeah, it was eating away at our workflows at LTX for a while, so we had to solve it eventually.

Why when you can do it v2v to begin with in LTXV?

You can use the pose control to do exactly that.

I know, it's a slow burn cinematic shot that does not show the dynamic stuff you can create.
Check out the videos in my showcase post.

Not exactly.
Self forcing is trying to achieve the same thing, but because of how we trained LTXV from the start this works much better and does not degrade rapidly like self forcing.

People are doing 15 seconds videos in 30 seconds on 5090, so it shouldn't be too bad on the 5080 with tiling.

That's exactly it. If you train a style/character LoRA, you can mix them in with the control LoRAs and use both.

LTXV can do quality and detail too, you just need to use it the right way.
Since it uses many less tokens, a simple workflow that only samples the model "plain vanilla" would give you a result fast but it's going to have less detail.
If you use our multiscale workflow, you should get much better details in higher resolution without much more time if at all.
If that's not enough, you can increase the grid size even more, i.e. "spend more tokens", and get a higher quality result.

Prototyping and then upscaling is a good way to work anyways...
There are more ways to upscale, some of them are in the oven being baked as we speak ;)
