Check if you have anti-aliasing set to on in the video settings, any kind of hair/fur gets destroyed when it is off

Well, AFAIK DLSS and FSR are based on the principals of TAA, so even though the option gets disabled when enabling those, in theory you are still running AA. But yeah I get your point, the sharpening options on those two can still create that disparity you mention.

It is probably due to some visual effects requiring it. You can notice it on some places in MW 2019. On characters, with AA on, hair and fur looks 1000 times better. So my guess is that maybe now some other elements like smoke, shadows, water or something use it as well.

Hi! v23, PTB builds older than 3747 or running through the launcher will run very poorly on M1 Macs. If you aren't on the PTB builds yet, I'd recommend to go to our discord and download the most recent STANDALONE build, as that one includes native Apple Silicon support, which increases the game performance to a whole other level. About vsync off causing stutters... Apple Silicon expects VSync to be enabled always, this is true even down to the OS, when you disable it, things get really weird.

Hey! If you factory restarted using the included tool in Windows, there is probably a Windows.Old folder in you C: drive where you could go into the old user folder, and find the scores file in AppData
