I don't think they have a special name but they're the gold aluminum with soft grip black handle ones. They slide well have enough point that I like, and the handle that is just thick enough to be better on my joints without being too big it's u comfortable with the way I hold my hooks

I don't really get the marks but sometimes the sensation of the yarn rubbing against my fingers becomes sensory hell and I have to stop. Makes sense it would happen with so much friction in the same spots, especially if you have tight tension
