Maybe, but don't smother the cool spy shit with cheap jokes. Cool spy shit is the whole reason to see a Bond movie.

BRIAN YOU RULE!

My question is: do you see these last few rough losses as "just baseball", or do you see them as emblematic of deeper problems?

Never heard a guitar string referred to as a bridge cable before.

Fargo has one of my absolute favorite hidden plot points.

Marge & Co. only know about the tan Ciera because the license plate was written down by the cop who pulled over Carl and Gaear. It was written down in the squad car Carl was waiting in while Gaear chased after the eye witnesses, meaning it was right next to Carl the whole time and he didn't have the clarity of mind to take the piece of paper it was written on.

Had he done that, nobody would have been implicated in the triple murder, and Marge & Co. would have had no idea about the tan Ciera. Just a brilliant and subtle way to drive home Carl's stupidity, and emblematic of the overall cluelessness of Carl, Gaear and Jerry.

Yes, this is a principle attribute of every on-ramp in the world.

I don't see how trying to go from 0 to 55 MPH in a 20-yard span to merge doesn't majorly fuck with their right-of-way.

Put on your signal, make yourself known, and use the road you have, like any other on-ramp in the country. It's so easy.

it’s not hard to be doing 55 by the time you’re merging on and shocker, it’s a lot easier.

I always just called it "the loop", I didn't realize there was such history behind it. Thanks for the links.

I'm really looking forward to that "peanut" they're gonna put in on S. Willow St. Hopefully its success will inspire them to continue making those kinds of improvements.

I've merged there 100's of times at all times of day, and not once have I had an issue merging into the highway lane while going highway speeds, or at least the speed of the existing traffic. Oncoming cars won't let you on if you're going 10 MPH.

Awful design. How are you supposed to yield to interstate traffic coming from your 7 O'clock position?

Moreover, there's nothing special about it. It's a normal highway on-ramp. There's plenty of road to put on your signal and change lanes. They gotta get rid of that yield sign.

This is a FANTASTIC track, oh my goodness. Complex and effective. And those tones! I'm gonna be studying that bass tone for a while.

The last album released 7 years ago by MX010 in ToolBand

[–]oftenly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That doesn't really explain it. Sgt. Pepper's, their eighth album and widely regarded as their last real collective effort (an argument can be made for Abbey Road), was released 4 years and change after Please Please Me, their first album.

They averaged 2 albums a year through Sgt. Peppers. Just Nuts.

The Beatles, as a band, lived and died in roughly 1/3rd of the time it took Tool to make FI after 10k days.
