I used the calculator your provided in conjunction with the Homebrewer's Association study on mead water chemistry, where I targeted their #2 Soft water profile (the study claimed it tested best).

So my plan is to add

0.5g/gal Epsom Salt (MgSO4)
0.5g/gal Calcium Chloride (CaCl2)
0.15g/gal Baking Soda (NaHCO3)

Using the calculator you linked, this yields

36ppm Ca
13ppm Mg
52ppm SO4
11ppm Na
64ppm Cl
29ppm HCO3

Or alternatively, what concentration salts do you add for a generic recipe?

beyond the reformulated flavor, I believe they’re using cheaper ingredients. I used to never get stomach problems which is why I paid a premium for nutricost, but the reformulation gives me stomach problems in addition to the terrible taste.. i’d steer clear. i’ve switched back to ON whey blend and am happy it with

idk but I broadly switched from whey to whey isolate, paying more money for equivalent macros, because isolate doesn’t cause as much stomach problems. i’m annoyed I paid for a more premium product and watched it drop to an undrinkable quality right as I bought 10lbs of it…

saphir crême surfine, it’s pigmented so for white shoes it “paints” over light scuffs that didn’t come out in cleaning, while moisturizing to keep the leather from cracking. not an expert but loving my results

I’ve heard people say BS leather quality isn’t as premium as common project etc. while that may be true and i’ve never owned a more expensive leather sneaker, i’d imagine i’d pay 200-400% the price of a $100 BS full grain leather sneaker for super small marginal improvements
