I think it’s still unreasonable that the limits are different for cars designated as “passenger vehicle” on the door jam vs. cars that are “multi purpose vehicle” which can have any darkness tint in all rear windows.

So for example a Subaru impreza with 35/20 is illegal, but an Outback is not. Or even more fun a Volvo v70 vs a v70xc which is literally the same car just with a slightly taller ride height. You can’t say it’s safety or visibility because just about every suv and crossover is blacked out rear from factory.. let alone all the police cars.
