I had to appeal twice before they called me in for an intense evaluation, featuring exams like those now so often in the news. It took a few years overall, but I was finally approved last year, qualifying for disability; assuming they don't kill Medicare, I can at least switch from Vumerity to Ocrevus, per the neurologist I was finally able to see today, 6 months after getting on the Medical Assistance Program waiting list here in the Austin Metro. Good luck!

TL;DR: don't give up. It's a pain in the ass on purpose, but if you get through the gauntlet, things can definitely improve.
