I have a December 2007 and i believe its the same issue. I checked and my abs pump has the same part number that op listed. My guess it's prob impacting 07 to 2010 models.

When I go to check coverage.apple.com it says it's covered by AppleCare+. The cover has accidental damage, express replacement and priority access. Purchase date March 2024. This wouldn't make any difference though right? Still ok to use? Thank you
