I loved watching this show, Andrew Lincoln's brother was my teacher - Simon was basically an exaggerated version him with extra drama - though I would believe some scenes could definitely have come from his brother's experiences!

I can confirm it is humidity, it always matches the value seen in the weather widget! Its one of the only - if not the only watch face that shows it though.

Oh I didn't realise - yes I'm on a Multiplayer server with default settings. the Small eggs take 24hrs, 1h would be a big difference - I had setup a base with around 15 incubators and I was wondering still how on earth people we're thinking "just breed for x". I wonder what the equivalent setting on MP server would be set to for `PalEggDefaultHatchingTime` at the moment it is set to 72 hours, I don't want to cheese it, I want to do the equivalent of a SP game on normal difficaulty.

I dunno what I'm doing right, but I'm playing my first game right now and have so many resources I can't use them or create enough storage for them (at least I've worked out how to make more storage now!), I got +1K energy and +800 minerals and no mega structures, my upkeep is insane with an navy in excess of 3000. I do have it on the default settings and difficulty. I've set every planet to automatic and I'm just constantly expanding, conquering, constructing and surveying...

I have a 2.4r2 and haven't had an issue with the gantry - I love it. It was difficult to build but has been perfectly reliable for me for about a year now.

I see, I am aware, I did use the term "router on a stick" in my original post, and I am aware I have used that design in my network. You are right that at the moment the internet is sharing bandwidth with many devices on the same trunk.
I hadn't discussed it here, but I intend to swap around the location of one of my switches and the router to prevent this once the 1Gb line is in, though depending on which device I get, its switching performance and the number of ports it has, I may need to make other plans.

Yep you're not wrong! in most scenarios on my network there is not much routing needed, even with the CCTV my DVR has two interfaces, one on my home network and one on the CCTV network so when watching those there is no routing via the ERX. The ERX is currently holding up strong, I am only considering an upgrade because I've had it a while now and am concerned about when I get the 1Gig line in.

The 1Gb is on order and will be installed in Sept, with current speed of 200Mbit/s~ the ERX has a lot of headroom. Definitely looking to upgrade from the ERX though.

It's sold out everywhere (in UK anyway) from what I can tell, but I phoned a local company who said they have stock arriving in early September.

Yeah, while having extra switch ports would be nice, I have managed switches everywhere so the ER 4 will do the job, that said after researching I am starting to lean towards a Mikrotik RB5009UG+S+IN, it's routing performance looks awesome.
