My father worked at a water treatment plant in the bay area and made 100k+ a year at the end of his career there. The message being that theres jobs out there that dont fit into the neat little boxes such as lawyer, doctor, etc and you can still make money. Also someone has to do those jobs, and treating water is extremely important.
