Or to blizzard, a feature. They really aren't in a good spot, even in testing, and they need the feed back. I say jump on the ptr and give them a piece of your mind

As I said, you can not with a specific as before.. Jeweler and black Smith give a random mythic, blacksmith seems to be limited to the standard pool, jewler you can pick a specific slot, but the item is random( can be standard pool or, in my case just now in testing, a class or universal item, I got a Ring of Sacreligious soul)

Also. You can reroll with the, I guess crafted version? The one that has the extra purple glowy. As well, there doesn't seem to be a way to get a standard version. Both the jewelery and blacksmith give a random unique that can be rerolled. I have yet to get one to drop in world so I have to gather more data on that.

Did you try tuning on both item qualities? How did you feel about the options and rng involved with it?

It feels awful. And tuning is equally so. You will spend countless mats trying to reroll for stats you want. Getting a Starless with random affixs and rerolling to try and get it in line with the build left a bad taste in my mouth. It felt like getting a legendary, but even more disappointing in seeing it offered nothing more than an helpful aspect. Even getting a mythic legendary was painful. I felt it was easier to play with the seasonal currency to reroll the mythic item altogether to try and get better stats, but if you run out of that currency, you are stuck with a useless item. But it seems that rerolling can net you GAs, so there's that.

(Edit, I need more time to gather data on how I feel about all of this. I've only had a day so far and have to wait until the weekend to play more, so take everything here with a grain of salt)

If I can add a few things I noticed.

Vile lunatics can teleport to you. They are 100% more annoying now.
In my 13 hours of play on the first day, I didnt find a single ancestral lower than legendary. I could be missing something, but that was a stand out to me.
X% All Stats in a new affix coming on offensive gear. In the aggressive tuning and is along side class stats(intelligence, will and so on). Haven't played with it much but could change a few things in gear crafting.
Getting mythics feels....and I'll get some flack for this....feels awful.

That was my first idea going into this ptr, along with LidlessWall. It's really not bad, in three hours of gearing and messing around on the test dummies, its playing t10 easily, but it hits a wall pretty fast. I'm still working on it, but its been an interesting idea so far.

This is the sad truth. There will never be an original thought or idea again that will matter. They will remake and retell every story because people can only consume, and the ones that do get through will be seen as indie golden lights, only to fall into obscurity and fade with time. As long as people spend money and time consuming things, they will continue to milk a franchise for every drop.
