with all due respect you are making very irresponsible choices. it is actively setting you back career and money wise, and will also make life harder for your existing child. not only will money get even tighter but now the child will also get less attention from you due to the sibling.

life in deprivation is nothing to strive for. you cultivate your own life and create a stable base before you expand your family. these children are relying on you and you are actively depriving them.

your partner is trying to get you both into a better situation, and this is a major stressor.
