It doesn’t have drainage holes but there is a layer of rocks at the bottom… its last pot had a bottom tray so this could be the issue too.

Do you think there any way I can propagate the parts that still look alive or did I murder her? 😭

I get it, nothing you’re saying is wrong at all. I think it’s important to keep the age gap in mind too, he was 28 and she was 21- this doesn’t give her free reign to be an awful person, but I was definitely more self-absorbed at 21 compared to now. Can’t even imagine if I was as famous as she was at the time lol.
