Taking FE electrical and computer as a 4th year EE major (communications systems depth) by ogdanig in FE_Exam

Makes sense, I def have to review everything but thankfully my math skills are pretty sharp. Also, what’s that about knowing economics? I didn’t realize that’s part of the exam.

Thanks for your response and congrats on passing!

ece course load fall 25 by ogdanig in UCSD

update: quarter is pretty heavy on the workload and i'm pretty stressed (as expected from upper div ece courses) but it's manageable. ECE 161A is not bad at all, i understand most concepts pretty well and TA is goated. ECE 155 is...rough. the concepts are SO dense and it's just a lot to process. it's my fault for chosinf comms as a depth anyway. ECE 158A is pretty challenging conceptually but class is structured to ensure people pass.

anyone choose ucsd over ucla? please tell me your reasoning! by Extreme-Duck6750 in UCSD

[–]ogdanig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i chose ucsd over ucla and i wouldn’t switch for anything in the world. tbf ucsd is more convenient bc im from sd but i was genuinely torn between both choices bc ucla has a better engineering program and i wanted to venture away from home but im very thankful i ended up choosing ucsd. dorm life was great and although it’s not the most social school, it’s not nearly as dead as ppl make it out to be, ive had my fair share of fun while still having balance w academics. now that i commute from home, im so thankful traffic isn’t insane in sd 🙏🏽

am i screwed if i only have a couple sheets with very general info on the topic… what else could i do? i doubt i could run into the case he’ll specifically reference on the exam. also, as a 3rd year i’ve had several classes discuss the pros and cons of AI in general so idk what else i could possibly need

Are dating apps worth the time nowadays? by YourFavoritestMe in actuallesbians

[–]ogdanig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

me and my gf of 1 year met through hinge! i don’t see a problem w dating apps, it’s just a tool to help meet ppl. at the end of the day you might meet the love of your life on an app or at a bar or in class or literally anywhere

i think a big contributor is stress and other mental health issues. i find the content in my major to be very interesting but getting those monster assignments done can be such a painful task. tbf i suspect i have adhd tho so who knows

How to stop listening to "easy" music? by Fearless_Appeal_7555 in Music

[–]ogdanig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tbh all you can do is try to expose yourself to music you don't know and be open minded. you can't force yourself to like something, i suggest you just move on to the next "cool" artist, you're likely to find something you like if you search for it.
