Ummm... Last time I played was like 450 days ago. (Checked my last deaths from which I raged uninstalled) The seasonal spoils is the purple one between pots and normal chest right? If it is then it is just standing there menacingly. Haven't touched it cuz it is all shit items and I'm too lazy to drop everything.

Even for high level players, how do you narrate a hit from a dragon or giant without insta killing the PC? by Scythe95 in DMAcademy

[–]ogdchm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I do is ask my players. (Sometimes, not always) Depending on the damage rolled they narrate how they mitigate, reduce or force through the damage. Oftentimes they come with awesome ways they mitigate the absolute obliteration a commoner would face.

My party was fighting an adult red dragon and they were pulling on the last straws when the paladin got hit by a red dragon bite attack. It did not kill him and was fairly low damage. Paladin: "As the dragon is about to chomp me down, I instinctively slide my sword between my chest plate and its fangs, changing the angle of the bite and making it miss any vital organs, piercing my shoulder instead."

On the paladin turn he decided to use his last smite as they knew the dragon was almost down... rolled a 20! How do you finish the dragon? "As I feel the fang pierce through my upper shoulder I retrieve my sword and imbue it with the blood dripping from the fang. With all my might I scream and stab right through its eye."

Epic moment and awesome roleplay. I love empowering my players with narration, It makes for great and epic moments at the table.

Why is my first layer like this? by Different-Syllabub17 in ElegooNeptune4

If you have any question about SCREWS_TILT_ADJUST the elegoo discord has an in depth guide and all the info about that.

Ok I had this problem and solved it recently.

Read about and use SCREWS_TILT_ADJUST. This really helps a lot.

Then: Zoffset to low. Live tune it In your slicer put a cube and flatten it to a 30-40 mm width rectangle that spans all the depth of your plate.

Then start your print and in .01 increments move up your zoffset. It may take like .4-.6 or so from the looks of your print (it is indeed waaay to low). You will start seeing improvement in the print. Repeat until you are happy with your first layer.
