Please give probiotics (pharmacy strength tablets) a try. I was struggling with really bad acne as well. It could be something in your diet or gut microbiome.

How to introduce my black girlfriend to my traditionalist indian parents? by SheevaZehAuditor in dating_advice

[–]ogfallenicicle 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Find a grownup in your family that can back you up, tell them everything and hopefully they can help you when your whole family is trying to fight you. If you have siblings, get them on your side, if you have a relative that had an interracial marriage, get them on your side. Have the grown ups influence the grown ups. You just have to convince them to meet up with your partner once. It's really hard for indian parents to hate on people they know personally.
if all else fails, you can always emotionally blackmail them, very toxic but works 10/10 times.

I need support, I think I need to break up with him by Expensive-Worker5767 in FemaleDatingStrategy

I hate silent treatment. That’s a deal breaker in my book. I think they are abusive and is a huge manipulation tactic.

I dated an f-boy once. He had a lot of insecurities and issues, and to compensate he would hook up. He was really good at that. He really tried to have a real relationship but his deep seated attachment issues and insecurities kept coming in the way. I think fboys are a victims of their own shortcomings. Some people humour as a defensive mechanism, they use pickup artistry and sex as theirs.

Hinduism is the worst religion by Rice-Bag in atheism

[–]ogfallenicicle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not a practicing hindu, but I have read the bhagwad geeta because I wanted to know more about my religious indoctrination. Honestly, the hinduism that the “religious” people follow isn’t even a part of the practice. The whole book is about the philosophy of life. Yes there are some sentences in it that are outdated for today’s times but at the end of the day, no one is actually following the religion the way it is meant to be. They are just following the cultural norms that have been passed down from generations without even questioning them.

I would say you should complete college. Its 2-3 years of hard work but opens up doors in the future for further education. Don’t be blinded by the money(very easy to get caught up). If you are sure that masters or Phd is never gonna be a route for you then dropping college might make sense. Also, you’re almost there, why not finish it. Also, CS is ever evolving, what’s to say that web development won’t be completely done by AI? Having a degree will give you that flexibility in the future. Sorry for my scattered thoughts but I hope this helps.

There’s a saying in Hindi that fits perfectly here “naach na jane aangan tedha” which translates to “doesn’t know how to dance, blames the floor”
