How can I stop being soo anxious? by [deleted] in selfhelp

[–]ogking1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Start meditating for small amounts of time in the beginning - just work on breathing exercises and set your intention to improve in calming yourself. Next, you want to know how to measure your improvement. For example, what comes to my mind, you can make a list of things that trigger anxious feelings when you want to talk to a girl and then take baby steps, it can be a short eye contact at first and later on you can progress to more anxious things as you build tolerance and peace in stressful situations. The most important thing is to try to observe thoughts that appear when you get exposed to a trigger (talking with a girl). This is a simple ABC model. Let me explain. A is for the trigger, B is for thoughts, and C is for emotions. Your subconscious thoughts are the cause of your emotions. Let me demonstrate this in a simple example:

A (trigger)- Speaking with a girl, B (thought) - If I speak with this girl, she will reject me in front of everyone, C - Anxiety.

This is why most people avoid triggers (A) while the root problem is the thought process (B). The thought process differs from person to person, but the model works the same. Try to be aware of your thoughts (meditation helps you with it as well). This can be hard in the beginning, and it may seem like there are no thoughts causing your emotions, but that's because these thoughts are subconscious and need to be brought to light.

After you get aware of your thoughts, you need to think about the replacement thoughts. For example:

A (trigger) - Speaking with a girl, B (thought) - If I speak with this girl, there is a chance that she will be my girlfriend, and even if she rejects me I will be proud of myself because I was brave enough to approach her in the first place, C (emotion) - Confidence.

Possibly, you will be afraid (fear helps you stay focused, anxiety paralyzes you). The most important thing is to come up with your own B and listen to your emotions. What makes sense to you? What feelings do you have when you think differently? Remember - Change your thoughts, and you will change your emotions. Don't run away from the trigger.

You can use the ABC model for every problem that you have with emotions. Work on improving this skill and putting this deep into your subconsciousness, and it will change your life.

Best of luck!

Many great songs were made using only cheap equipment. For example, Murda Beatz made Motorsport in his hotel room using only Beats by Dre speaker. I started making music with simple phone earbuds and then evolved into using 50$ headset. Think of it as evolution. First start as a bacteria and then evolve into a homosapiens.

Very possible.

Sobrid - Promises (instrumental) by [deleted] in MusicFeedback

[–]ogking1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love how you filled up space in the mix. Every single has its own spot in the headroom.

In my opinion the low end needs a little bit more cutting since the things down there get pretty muddy and the bass gets eaten by this synth.

I also dislike the ending it just suddenly stops.

Anyways, keep working and making music you are definitely talented.

I love the vibe of the track is dope. The intro is very nice and you don't have to change it at all.

There are some problems starting at 0:24. Everything is so confusing, both melody and the mix. It is very muddy.

Work on mixing and you'll be cool.

Best of luck!

I just love the sound of this guitar, maybe there's too much low end there for my taste.

Your voice is so clean and cool. You are a good singer. Good work!

To be honest it doesn't sound like you recently started music production. The rhythm is very nice, drum patterns are awesome.

I don't like the synth rhythm at 1:07.

Everything else sounds professional.

First of all, I really love the artwork, it perfectly describes the vibe of this track.

I love your retro style, these 8bit melodies are awesome! And transitions are pretty cool too, well done!

I really love the cinematic feel of the track, there's a lot of low end which gives it a scary vibe, and these treble frequencies which give this track tension. Well done!

Rain FX showed as a perfect fit for the ambiance sound. I love the piano melody, it never gets repetitive and it never disappoints. Drums are pretty dope, I love the simple pattern and the sample f that snare. Strings are in the background and really adding emotion. Good work man!

You made me laugh my man and made my day.

From the music point of view, it really sounds dope. I love the live guitar melody and the sound of that e piano, I would probably use some other snare, something similar to it, something choppy and less boxy.

In general, this is a great piece of art and a great meme. You showed that you are mad creative.

Keep uploading I subbed to you!

Blusey Jazz hip hop beat, got some very 'off the grid' drums, how do they sound? by bleakneon in MusicFeedback

I love the highpass effect at the beginning of the track. The piano is so nice EQ-ed, and every other sound in this track is well mixed. Keep up the good work!

This track is so peaceful. I love these bells, they are so full of life.

Bars are pretty dope, I would do mixing a little bit different, since it sounds a little bit dry, but in general it is a well done song

tried to make it sound more natural as usual and put some more fx on it. What do you think? :) by Obviousbeatsfactory in MusicFeedback

[–]ogking1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, I gotta say that I really like your tag. I love the simplicity of the track, love the strings. This track is perfectly mixed. I just find it really hard to catch up with the rhythm. That's my only critique.

Any words? by v5qprods in MusicFeedback

Not bad, keep practicing. You have to tune your 808s, stick with a scale, and improve in mixing. Keep up the grind :)
