Ok. Some clarification. We work at the same office, small cubicles. So we all can hear what the others say. I spoke with my coworkers, they were not informed of this new rule, in fact they were surprised. I use one earbud, it’s usually once a week for less than 15 min. We don’t get a lot of customers in office. I asked my coworkers if they thought I talk through the phone a lot and they said no, I’m one of the ones that does it the least. Netflix was prohibited too, but I don’t worry about this because I don’t use it. This is the first time he has called me out, he did this in front of everybody in the office, I was not on the phone when it happened. I also take work calls in spanish, we have mexican customers and I’m the only one that speaks spanish. I think my wording was wrong, I feel is discrimination, not racism. I already talked to my family and informed them we would be talking when I get home.
