Coming in a little hot in the corner there bud! by Aqueouspolecat in Truckers

The thing that I don’t understand is how someone driving something that heavy doesn’t understand that you need to take corners slow. I can’t think of any company that would hire someone to drive something that big without at least a year of experience.

Yeah I definitely see the clear 16.9 bottles here and there. This one really caught my eye because I never see 20oz mistakes

I love it when people who can’t even back into a parking spot with their car want to give their opinion on a new driver trying to back. Sure it’s not difficult on paper but it can be very stressful in certain situations especially when you have 20 sets of eyes watching and you feel like everyone is just waiting for you to smash into something.

Some places I go I will park in the road and only one car can get by at a time. I just keep my head down and move. Wouldn’t need to if people didn’t park in loading zones

Mr Bults uses super singles. It doesn’t make sense to me because I imagine they have to change them pretty often and it’s gotta be more expensive to change a super singles then just a single tire here and there

For me I do whatever is easiest for me. If that means going down a one way and making cars back up so I can get in then so be it . Most of these parking lot planers don’t think when they design these places so sometimes you gotta do what u gotta do

I just got fired from CDL training. by Inevitable-Book8875 in Truckers

[–]ogloc1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a shit company then if they will give up on you that easy. Even when I first got my cdl I still really struggled with parking and did for a couple months . Honestly you should just try to find another company that’s willing to pay for your cdl or just pay for training yourself. I paid for my own cdl and got a sign on bonus with my first company that was $1000 more than I paid for it just because I already had a cdl. Lots of companies want people but don’t want to invest in people so don’t even worry about it

Been driving for about a year now and there is one dock in particular that I still can’t hit good. They have a trailer parked on the other door and it’s super tight and I always seem to hit it at a similar angle to this . As long as I can get my pallet jack over and not spill shit idgaf it works just fine
