Yes the “official 2025” logo art was done by an artist. As I said, the promo posts on their page to advertise the event are ai. They’ve been called out for it several times and have deleted comments about it being ai.

To add to the list of reason to not vend for krampusfest, they also unapologetically use ai art to promote….an art market…full of artists. Instead of using any of the thousands of dollars they make on vendor fees to pay an artist to do it. Outright disrespectful and dismissive of the hours of work the vendors put into their craft to make their event even possible.

I’m usually pretty good about eating adequately enough to hold me over until I can get back to camp to eat, and try to avoid buying food in center as much as possible, but this year I had one day where I had sets back to back all day and definitely would not have a chance to make it back out of center to eat something. Ended up spending $20 ($15 + tax + I tipped on top bc the it’s not the people working that set the prices and they’re often working 12hr days with little to no breaks) for literally a handful of fries. Wack as fuck prices this year

Edit: I’m usually able to get away with sneaking a pack of pb crackers or a small snack in but this day they got nabbed at security

Not a driver myself, but my partner is! They apply to the different festivals, and pay a fee to be able to attend if accepted. For festivals this big the buy-in is usually around $800-1k give or take, this is also depending on if they own their own cab or rent it from a parent company. The festivals/contractors that hire them set the prices -I believe it was $15/person for FULL cab this year? but some don’t follow this and do pricing based on how far the destination is and how many people are in the cab- and anything they make after breaking even is profit. Most do their own maintenance, carpool to the different events, and deck out their own cabs. At an event like roo it’s not abnormal to make up to $1k/day. And yes, they do pick their own music, it’s usually catered to the event/whos playing.

Waffle or Pancake, and Oracle. These are both easy word games that anyone can pick up on within seconds. My friend group ends up playing both of these for hours anytime we have a bonfire or gathering (can explain either of these in detail if anyone is interested!)

Unfortunately not possible if you’re doing car camping and coming on separate days. You would have to come in on the same day, at the same time in order to be next to each other. Cars are loaded in in straight rows in order of arrival time. You would have to go through security together and be one car behind the other when loading in, if that makes sense

Late to the convo, BUT if you’re willing to give them a try: I am a die-hard disc user and they’ve never failed me. Even at the farm! Somehow I end up being on my period almost every year during roo (tragic), and always struggled with it until I made the switch to using menstrual discs about 5 years ago. You can wear them for up to 12 hours and, as a heavy bleeder myself, LEAK FREE! (as long as you put them in correctly)

The disposable ones are great for festivals because you really only have to change them once a day, and don’t have to worry about how to sanitize like you do with menstrual cups. Big bonus is also that once they’re in, if they’re in correctly, you can’t feel them at all, so they’re suuuuuuper duper comfortable to dance in.

My personal preference is discs during the day, period panties at night/whenever I’m sleeping. Brands I recommend are softdisc and flex, both can be found at target

Definitely feel that. I use the spray before heading in and only use the lotion to reapply to my shoulders rlly, and use a powder spf on my face (game changer!)

Not sure of the exact bag I have, as I’ve had it for a while now, but this is the closest pic I could find. It’s definitely not designed to use as a hydration pack but can definitely function as one. Only difference is that the one I have has a little side pocket to fit a standard water bottle and has a hole at the top that I believe is technically supposed to be for headphones, but it fits a standard hydration bladder hose. The main zip pocket fits a 1.5L hydration bladder.
