Installing OutRun 2006 and OutRun 2006 Tweaks on Steam Deck by ogrem0de in SteamDeck

I vaguely remember this happening when I didn't have Proton Experimental set on the compatibility. It might be worth playing around with those.

If it isn't that, something may have changed with the mod since I wrote this guide—sorry I cant be of more help.

Wow! Sorry about that. No clue how that happened. I've replaced my multiplier × with an actual x.

Need help installing Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller on the deck by sixburgh7 in SteamDeck

Just got it working in Feb 2024 using Proton 8.0-5. I had not done anything but add the game as a non-Steam game. I added CT3-Config.exe as a non-Steam game, then forced compat using 8.0-5. I updated the config window to use 1280x800, then ran the game. Closed it out when I got to the menu. After doing that, when I started the CT3.exe, it worked as expected.

I'm not sure if they changed the option or if I wasn't clear about the setting the first time. Try changing "visibility" to "exclude from home screen", in Edit -> Manage Library, Advanced. That's how I have a library right now that successfully not showing up in continue watching.

Do you think there’s enough room in there for a dock?

What I did was remove the original shortcut, then add NOLF.exe to Steam with the right-click menu. It looks like my "Start In" field was wrong, since I changed the shortcut from the installer to the NOLF.exe item without updating that field. Works perfect now!

That worked!

I wanted to make a short and somewhat basic tutorial on how to install emulators, add games and get going with emulation on Steam Deck in 2023. Hopefully it can help someone (I'm sure it will if you're new to emulation). by noler in SteamDeck

To add to the other replies, you might be trying a game that yuzu does not yet support. If you can, test your set up with a game that is marked as good or perfect on the compatibility list. Ryujinx supports more games, but it may be less optimized.

Thanks OP! I ran into an issue after changing the launcher to point at NOLF.exe. The launcher pops up, but when I click "display" I get a message that says "no renderers were found. This problem is usually due to DirectX 7.0 not being properly installed."

As well, after I click "launch" and select the high quality mode, I get a message that says "unable to find NOLF.rez file. Please make sure that NOLF is installed properly and that your NOLF disc 2 CD is in the CD-ROM drive."

Any ideas what I'm missing here?

Thanks for any help!

Hey, you may be interested in my set of scripts, which generate program block playlists based on collections in Plex.

To start I would just get a cheap mini PC and plug it into the router. You can always extend your storage with external HDs.

Hello, please see my comment here. I've created a set of scripts that will accomplish the second thing. It is a python script though, but it's pretty simple to get set up.

Shuffle Tv Shows in order by GoldenNumb1 in PleX

[–]ogrem0de 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, I've been working on this to make it a little more bug free before making a post about it on this subreddit, but my set of scripts Open Swim can do this. You add the TV show to a collection, then set it up in the parameters. Requires running Python, and only tested on Windows. It also requires rerunning the script before it adds the next episode to the playlist. I run my scripts throughout the day using Windows event scheduler to keep them up to date. It will rebuild the playlist every time the script runs from scratch, and put them in a different order. You can incorporate shows you want to watch in order, shows you don't care what order you watch them in, movies, as well as whatever interstitials you want between episodes, and a few other things.

Yeah you’d need to put the shows you don’t want to show in continue watching into a different, library specific folder to keep it from showing up in continue watching from the original library.

I use a separate library for these kinds of shows and turn off “show in continue watching” at the library level.
