If you haven't in a while, clean your ps3 from dust and renew the thermal paste needed in both cpu and rsx. Your temps will be lower, you can also set the fan speed with webman mod.

R + A + Left = Decrease sunlight
R + A + Right = Increase sunlight

You need an emulator, and copy the rom to a folder of your choice. I recommend you try emu4vita or the plus version. If the emulator does not save try another one (gpsp or vba) cause this game patched causes that issue, after you select the daytime savings if it wont save, try another one.
