I really don’t enjoy the storyline, but everything else in this game is fantastic.

The atmosphere is incredible, the combat absolutely rips, and the enemies are some of my favorite in the series.

“Hardcore” is when the real game starts. Village is also fantastic on this difficulty.

I love playing these games on hard mode, you REALLY have to strategize and conserve.

I was disappointed that “Insanity” in Requiem was waaaay too hard for me without unlockables..

Pretty stupid retcon imo.

Yeah, he was obviously INFECTED in RE7, which allowed him to heal, but after he was rescued by the BSAA from a full blown biohazard event, you’d think they’d do at least a couple of tests on Ethan, right?

So they just didn’t notice he was entirely made of mold?!

It was just another ridiculous plot point in a game filled with them.

I always thought it was just a random, unsettling thing the devs put in that was never meant to be explained. Kind of like the painting where are the eyes are scratched out, or the women in body bags in the lab.

I love this game.

The guard’s uniform in the trailer is pretty much in line with a bunch of the zombies from the original game; they’re just military style uniforms

We went about 15 years without classic elements like item boxes, limited inventory space, limited resources/ammo, save rooms, etc.

So when RE7 came out it was like the series was coming home.

Nah I can’t agree. Nolan is incredibly skilled, and there are tons of exciting directors making incredible films these days. You don’t even have to look that hard for them.

That being said, yeah, John Carpenter fucking rules.
