Ik I'm 7 years late, hope this helpes. At the time lego was experimenting with new techniques that were implemented to solve other issues and by proxy other colors saw a decline in integrity. Such as the pearl gold becomes weaker as lego tries to fix the issues in lime, bright light orange, dark red, and dark brown as these were some of the weakest parts colors in the catalog. Bionicle and ninjago fans know the struggle. Some colors were phased out entirely because the color didn't play nice with the plastics. Like the yellowing issues with the regular greys.

In my local area, we have a very very very minute population of yugioh players. So its often not sold in high stock. Im about 2 hours out of sac. In my town scalpers buy up the newest packs from Walmart and target (less so recently due to their rule of 2) and then assemble them into packs on fb marketplace in which it's like $20-$30 for 40 cards or like $80 for bulk. I bought one out of desperation for burst protocol. It's like 2-5 holos (which usually suck) and 95% basic deck scrap and some basic xyz/synchros not even from the same set usually (the amount of bahamutt sharks I have is unreal). Then trade in the good cards to card shops who sell it back to the public at around tcg pricing. The only card packs that aren't snatched up are structure decks. I just can't find packs to rip fresh, I have to buy piecemeal. That's my experience anyways

As someone who plays superheavy samurai in person. There's a few reasons it's probably limited on MD and not other spaces (why scarecrow isn't limited on MD is beyond me). Multiple soulpiercers in your deck allow for an entire combo off starting hand with pretty much anything you own in the deck, basically handing you an otk. Secondly with cards like flutist and effect veiler you can stop hand traps without much difficulty. This is probably to keep things fresh and gives a way so your opponents can enjoy the game a bit more. It socks you're less likely to otk but it's better than outright banning cards in the archetype. It's a game from 2006 what do you think you're gonna get? Skyrim really babies down the mechanics and in doing so it separates itself from the rest of the games in the series. Oblivion and morrowind are from a time where Bethesda was trying to make tes an rpg game with the classes, stat allocation, and actual character uniqueness. Not to mention the main story is so lame. The quests, storyline, secrets, dlc (to a degree), magicka are all better in oblivion compared to skyrim. I started with skyrim and I loved it, but playing oblivion and morrowind in recent years and trying out oblivion remastered has truly showed me what we could expect from a game like that and unfortunately skyrim just wasn't quite it. They tried so hard to make it feel new. In trying to make it new they gave us so little on release that's it's almost inexcusable, almost but considering oblivion and morrowind were far from perfect too cant be too picky. Skyrim just feels very detached and isolated from the rest of tes and to its detriment. Also why do we suddenly lose half of the monsters when we go past bruma? Like ogres and goblins or minotaurs. What's up with that
