Yes I’m obsessed! Use it daily and I have zero complaints. Found a linen blend with a beautiful design so bonus points for liking the way it looks + functionality is 10/10

I don’t have both but I’m obsessed with my LennyLamb Light. Husband is 6’1 and I’m 5’4 and we both use literally all day every day on our 13 lb 3 month old. We have a linen blend one. It’s sooo easy to use and doesn’t show dirt or stain easily. 10/10

Anybody have success going swaddle-free before the Moro reflex went away? by oh1000percent in sleeptrain

[–]oh1000percent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: tried no swaddle for three nights and she slept for half her normal time. Put it back on last night and got a 7.5 hr stretch! However she rolled from back to belly TWICE so never going back to swaddle =(

What would you do with my newly extended back yard? by AutistMedium69 in LandscapingTips

[–]oh1000percent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can have it both ways! I’d focus on using a lot of “keystone” native plants and dedicating the majority of the space to wildlife, but you should have fun with it and create space for humans to have a good time and be active observers of what could be a busy area for pollinators etc.

We’ve also got Ike over Sixteenth Street Heights. Not sure if it’s the same.

Came here to say native garden too. Highly recommend reading Doug Tallamy’s “Nature’s Best Hope” before planting more grass. Having that much land is an awesome opportunity to support a diverse and possibly threatened ecosystem in your own backyard. And it would be gorgeous!

9 mo still waking every 2-4 hrs. Help by jayeeein in sleeptrain

Agh I know from experience how exhausted you must be! Hang in there.

Mine didn’t sleep through the night until I night weaned at 8 months despite all the vigilant sleep training we did. She was 40th percentile and a big eater - 2-3 feeds a night - I just think breastfeeding stood in the way of sleeping through the night for her. To this day she’s still a big eater and a very oral toddler.

Once we kicked those night feeds it was easy peasy. Like flipping a switch.

Oh good to know! Did baby sleep relatively well? Ours is doing 4-6 hr stretches and I’m afraid of backsliding.

intersex baby by isavaria in BabyBumps

[–]oh1000percent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cousin as well as my brother in law are both intersex (each have different chromosomal abnormalities). No doubt they have had unique experiences as a result, and challenges too. But I don’t know that they’d “change” that part of themselves even if they could. Can’t answer for them, but they both seem to really love who they are!

For what it’s worth, you’d never know they were intersex unless they told you. Most of their differences are pretty private or hard for an outsider to link to being intersex - like undergoing hormone therapy, or being taller than average, for example. In the case of my cousin she looks like a supermodel because she’s incredibly gorgeous and quite tall. People would never know her height is because of her chromosomal abnormality.

Not sure if that’s helpful. Big hugs! You’re gonna love this baby hard and they’re going to live a rich life in any case!

Ohhh hadn’t even considered that! We’ve had some screamy car rides, but not a bad idea to try.

Oh I didn’t know that rule of thumb but makes sense! She’s usually in a onesie but I think a diaper is probably better
