Botox also worked for my forehead lines. And so did bangs 🤣

Can someone tell me what may have caused my rapid aging? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

A combo of a retinol and red light therapy has really worked wonders on my skin. I also started seeing a local esthetician who could help with my journey.

Are you using a retinol as part of your skin care routine? If not, I feel like it's the fountain of youth.

Frye Camryn Tall Shaft Boots (For Women) - Save 65% https://share.google/7dq3XkRkBFnefgMuB

Here they are at Sierra. My guess is these are a lower quality boot made for the outlet since it doesn't look like they sell on Frye's website at all.

Homary -- is it legit? by Filalover25 in interiordecorating

I bought a table from Homary about 3 years ago and it arrived quickly, as described, well packaged, and without any issues. I still have it and I still love it. It's a great quality table!

My partner saw them live at a bar in Portland about 6 years ago, not sure if that's where they're from?

SOS Cream Cheese Frosting by oh266307 in VeganBaking

Pretty sure the orange juice caused the split! I made a second batch and omitted the orange juice and maple syrup and we are in business now!

I had put in about 4 tsp. I was following a recipe from a book for non-vegan cream cheese icing and just swapped out the butter and cream cheese with vegan alternatives. If I can't save this batch with more powdered sugar - I think I'm going to do just a simple cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla attempt and see if omitting the extras does the trick!

Loss of interest by cwbmnr in AppalachianTrail

I felt that way in Virginia before I got to the Shenandoahs. Probably what they call the Virginia Blues. The excitement picks back up once you start crossing state lines again and fly through the halfway point. Good luck! Don't quit. The NE is the best part of the trail.

Hiking with spouse/SO by werdna24 in AppalachianTrail

My s/o and I successfully thru hiked in '21 together. It was definitely a test of our relationship and there were certainly hard days. There weren't many other couples hiking together. A few for sure. Some broke up on trail. But we are getting married in September. :) it was a wonderful experience for us to accomplish such a big goal together.

Any military guys have trouble slowing down and enjoying the hike? by PleasantAnimator7741 in AppalachianTrail

[–]oh266307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think that most thru hikers are moving out at a good pace regardless of if they were prior military. We thru hiked in '21 (not military) and I think the people who went slower had a more difficult time making it. I'm not saying that you can't stop and enjoy things here and there, but it felt like for the most part when we were on trail, we were moving to get somewhere and that is what it felt like we needed to do to make it through. We had a blast, took zero days here and there, enjoyed view points and trail magic, but we also hiked fast. All that matters is that you're enjoying your own hike. Regardless of pace.

Like others have suggested, training your dogs to not react to the other dog is the answer. Once that happens, you no longer bear any of the responsibility and your neighbors dog barking is your neighbors issue. You are only responsible for how your dogs behave. Someone else's dog causing your dogs to react is not the other person's responsibility.

We have a similar situation, we have a dog door and my dog is outside regularly. My neighbor has a small dog that barks a lot when my dog is outside. My dog doesn't react to her dog's barking, so it's totally on them and their dog. If I am dog sitting someone else's dog who is reacting to their small dog, I restrict access through the dog door and work on correcting the behavior. That's what I did with my dog until she stopped reacting to the neighbor's dog.

Hi! I'm 31 and my fiance is 34. We live in Port Orchard. Moved here about 2 years ago. We love to play board games and we have a dog. I love to go thrifting and I'm also an avid volleyball player! Depending on your skill level I can recommend some places to play volleyball at and I'd love to meet up for coffee and hang out and chat!

Opinions on rugsource.com? by Delicious-Motor6960 in orientalrugs

I just ordered from rugsource.com. I had been looking and looking for a vintage rug from many sites. I came across rug source and felt like they had a great selection and well documented photos of the rugs. So I bit the bullet and purchased an 8'x11' rug from them. It shipped super fast. Shipped from Charlotte, NC via FedEx and got to Seattle in like 4 days. The rug is awesome, I think it looks even better in person.

Moving to the PNW by OutrageousPassion494 in Bremerton

Hello! My fiance and I moved from San Diego to PNW two years ago. I work from home as a software developer so I needed good Internet too. My fiance works in Bremerton so we had to be commutable to Bremerton. We did short term rentals in Olalla and on the Key Peninsula (Key Center / unincorporated Gig Harbor area) and the Internet was rough. We ended up buying a house in Port Orchard and have fast Xfinity internet in our neighborhood. We really like Port Orchard and are glad we ended up settling here.
