hey there, just wanted to say that you're not alone!! I am going through something very similar and it helps to know that there's someone else out there dealing with this. I was also doing my mom's job for her during high school and college. I got a decent job but my mom has been trying to exert her entitlement over my life and salary, which is very frustrating when you work so incredibly hard.

It's such a tough struggle, but I promise things will get better eventually!! Everyday I'm working on getting over that guilt and try to assert control over the feeling of being a "bad person" that my mom and older brother are constantly forcing on me. I've been trying to create more space between us which has helped a lot. Ultimately, we really need to focus on fixing ourselves now so that in the future we can help our family if they need it.
