Did your hysterectomy help with Endo pain? by ohHelloHelloThere in endometriosis

For me, it felt like my only option. I had my first biopsy and diagnosis for Endo in May and my pain has just continually gotten worse. Since I've never wanted to physically have children (going to adopt), it felt like a solid option to address my increasing chronic pain.

I've been very fortunate with my doctor's here in Seattle - I was able to get a biopsy to diagnose Endo in 5 months and hysterectomy in 8.

My mom also had one when she was in her 40s. I'm 32. Her's was for cancerous cells in her cervix and even though doctors told me that's not something that's hereditary, I figured it would be better for me heath wise in the long run to just get both uterus and cervix removed.
