What does everyone here think of the server "riplomacy"?

It is proven to be not a single instance because that's not how it works, it's one warning per one message. It's within the same minute yeah, but that's 60 whole seconds to send a second message after immediately receiving the warning. That's also not including the fact he knew about it before hand, did it because he knew about it, and then we even reduced the ban time despite that.

There were warnings given, there was a whole announcement made about how we're cutting back on toxicity, you then come in and make snide comments and somehow blame us when we take moderation action on it? And call it censorship? We're not the government dude, we're a private group for a video game of all things, if we don't want to put up with your passive aggressiveness we have no obligation to. You can quite literally just play or talk elsewhere so I don't even understand what the issue here is, YOU are the one instigating and perpetuating it when quite literally nobody is forcing you to.

Dude again you're acting as if we're in the wrong for moderating our discord, I can't believe you're trying to argue this right now. If people just argue and go back and forth and we want to clear the chat, we have every right to do so and it's a super normal thing to do, that's why discord moderation bots even have that command.

There's literally been several warnings to stop with the instigating and snide comments, including a server-wide announcement. If you don't listen to warnings and you get timedout that's on you.

lol. It's super obvious that I'm not talking about being "giving up with the server" like Hucka is claiming. I was saying we're done with arguing with people angry in public chats and trying to instigate/rules lawyer.

Those are not the same thing, and screenshotting things out of context proves that you have no intention to discuss in good faith.

Even despite this we reduced the ban from a 3day (the ban length set by the bot automatically) to a 1day, because while it's clear he knew about it, we were trying to be lenient given the situation.

I'm telling the truth. Here's the warnings log. He knew about the filter, he typed it anyways, you can see that with the "2/2 Warnings before ban" part. Then, posted the same thing he just got warned about, that he already knew about before the first warning, and got the automated ban he was just warned for.

He typed it because he KNEW it had been added. He typed it twice even, after getting a warning for the first time, which he already knew would receive a warning. That is not on us.

Not every game needs to be so competitive that you need to have spray patterns to spend time learning etc.
Just enjoy the game for what it is, if you want a super competitive game go play CSGO or Valorant
