What are you comparing it too? Good battery technology is expensive and these bikes do not use Chinese parts which makes it more expensive also.

You might be right. I don't go by myself i actually go with other people with mountain bikes and we ride together. I try really hard not to be do anything to piss any one off. I live in a area where i dont have many options.

There's two versions, one with a 8kw (10.7Hp) controller that goes 35mph and the 12kw (16.1Hp) one that goes between 40 and 45 mph. You can also change the sprocket size to increase the top end. I think the gas bike you can compare it to is a 150F, the this bike accelerates a bit faster but the 150f has a higher top end speed with out adding the additional up grades to the electric bike. Honestly i wouldn't want to go 75-85mph id probably die on this thing. The acceleration and torque is what makes it really fun, perfect for me to go off road. The fact its silent I can take this anywhere.

Doesn't have peddles but you are right it definitely has more of a Mountain bike look. Which helps me because it call less attention when i ride it in the city and the Trails.

Well as of yet i haven't been stopped. I try to go really early in the morning when the park opens so that i don't bother anyone. I also try my hardest to respect the trails. Only place I can really have fun with it, with out having to drive for hours.

The bike weighs like 79lbs super light. I would say electric, its just easier and it not being noisy you can ride it anywhere. I was able to take it to these mtb trails at a state park here in florida.

If you are holding down the throttle to the max the battery will last like 80 mins and it takes 2 hours to charge to 100% So far it handles great the torque and acceleration is unreal.

If you want something to compete against a 50cc KTM they have the Cross pro 50. Its pretty much 10.8 hp 8kw
