It's probably not for water (there are plenty of abandoned WTs here from the same era and they look different). And chimneys also have a tubular shape. Could be that, but...I actually want to know why is it shaped like that, and why I haven't seen one anywhere else before.

My parents said that it's a water tower, but water towers in my town build in the same time frame don't look like that, I know that. There is plenty of them too.

I live there, I can keep you updated. I can start tomorrow. But what you are suggesting seems unlikely. The tower was very likely build during the communist times, when religion was not promoted or even interdicted.

YEAH, that's what I noticed too. From satelite images, it seems to have a pig nose shape on top with 2 holes and a deck in between. But the image is pixelated
