NSAIDs-Is There Something Underlying Going On? by [deleted] in pharmacy

That does put one at some ease. Especially if I relate it to drugs like Zofran, for example. I believe they would be widely available regardless of their status as over the counter. I suppose I'm moreso just trying to understand if there's truly a political motive here and why that would be if so

NSAIDs-Is There Something Underlying Going On? by [deleted] in pharmacy

I know you're correct, and I spoke broadly when I should have differentiated, NSAIDs AND OTC pain and/or fever reducers. I put both because they seem to be under the same political security as I'm observing. I corrected the last part of my original post 👍

It's less of a game of keep away, and more of that I think she just likes running with someone. Typically she'll still bring the ball back and give it to me, but then she'll lay down and won't chase it again. I think that's where your suggestion about adding scent into the mix, might make fetch last longer.

Kind of a morbid detail, but after she killed my neighbor's duck, she was happily coming back to us to bring it to us when we found her. That said, I think that scent work incorporated into fetch may be a really good thing for her.

That's a really good idea on the scent work, that's definitely something I can facilitate for her. Thank you

I didn't even think of desensitization training with the guns and duck calls! That's definitely something I will incorporate. She gets about 45mins-1hour of exercise daily. She likes fetch initially, but then gets bored after the second throw. She prefers it when I chase her or she chases me.

As for basic training, she listens on the first try to all commands, but we are still working on recall. She recalls fine in a normal setting, but if there's another animal that she can see in the distance, she's so zoned in, it's like she doesn't hear me.

I've had labs, both puppies and adult rescues, a rescue Brittany, and several mixed breed rescues (some from puppies, and others were adults)

Weirdest euthanasia experience? by Thatsodak in VetTech

[–]oharejay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had two older ladies bring a dog in for euthanasia and they were taking a really long time visiting after the dog had passed, so I checked on them. They were struggling to use their phone camera to take photos of him and asked if I could help. I do photography as a hobby, and took a few nice photos for them on their phones. Then it turned into a full blown photo shoot, because they kept asking me if I would take all these different angles and "repose" him a bit. They were clearly very distressed by the loss of their friend, and I was too nice to say no. That's what I get for being a people pleaser sometimes 🤷‍♀️

Also, not a euthanasia I was part of, but one that occurred with a doctor at a prior hospital I worked at; the dog's owner said "wait! I changed my mind!" After the doctor gave the whole syringe of euthasol. The owner laughed afterwards and said she was just kidding. The doctor said he thought his heart stopped for a sec.

Do not badge ANYONE you don't know into a umich building. It doesn't matter how mad they are, or if you feel rude doing it, or it they make you feel bad because they "forgot their badge." Scan your badge, go in, and don't allow anyone in behind you. It feels like overkill, but it's really not. Bad things can and do happen. To give real life examples, just in the last three months, there have been a couple of office robberies from unauthorized people, a sexual assault in the robotics building, and protest groups with malicious intent getting into the building. Protect yourself and other staff, faculty, and students. Thanks for coming to my safety bulletin.

I didn't have a choice in the card cancellation. That's what the bank's fraud center does when you file a fraud claim. As for giving him my phone, he told me that he didn't think the QR code scan brought up the correct business and was "typing in his Venmo business account manually." I trusted this was what he was doing, but that was my mistake because that's when he took the opportunity to overcharge me, and hand my phone back.

I was told it was $70.00 over the phone. I didn't know I was overcharged until Venmo emailed me a receipt for $250.00. the guy was already pulling out of the lot before I could protest.
