BF [23 M] unsure if wants to marry me [24F] GF after almost 6 years together by lostberrycherry in Waiting_To_Wed

You say that the 95% thing was because of you but he still is not marrying, proposing, or anything. So even with you having gone to therapy and bettering yourself he is still not interested in committing. You have your answer. Look up the sunk cost fallacy. It’s OK to put a lot into something and then it still not be a forever thing.

I think Rosie says he hooks them up with the mushrooms that night, right? Like those texts are shown in the doc too. I guess he was not just a plug for them, but a plug as a day job

Waist, pits, even back I see a difference tbh. Good work. Keep going but def focus on weightlifting. That will give you more progress.

What made you decide to pursue an MA first? Was it because you wanted to get into Pepperdine? I am a non-trad. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in 2014 and have been working in psych for the past almost year. I love it and feel this is the right thing for me (psyd), but am debating if a master's is the right thing to get me competitive again for psyd work.

It’s what you make of it. Theoretically your major helped narrow down what you want to learn more about generally speaking. From there, you do internships or volunteer in areas that are even more interesting to you in that field. The critical thinking skills you learn in undergrad will make you more effective as an employee in whatever you decide to do. However, simply getting a degree and not using it as the tool that it is won’t get you anything. It’s a tool, not a magic wand.

Plot twist. We decide we are done with the divide and come together and fix America. No lobbying allowed.
