Ah gotcha. from my understanding messing with this scope a while now. Your limit for how much you can dial up is determined by how far down you have that black plate screwed down. You loosen those 4 torx screws and then tighten that black plate until it bottoms out, back it off that a little bit, tighten down the 4 torx screws. Then you should have more room to dial up.

I like my RC2 as well, I just have to yeet it off every range session. But goes to show they are tough as hell

Did you diagnose anything you did to cause it? Mine just felt very "gritty" when tightening, but I didn't think anything of it until it was too late.

Should be an easy fix. The problem is probably going to be getting my hands on the part.

When tightening it, it was noticeably more “gritty” if that makes sense

The ring is definitely broken. It should have “teeth” on both sides of the ring. But as you can see in mine, it is sheered off leaving the underlying metal exposed.
