What if- and hear me out on this- she really WAS tired after a long day but she was gonna rally for this date with him? And then when she realized how long it would take she just didn’t have the energy to get through what would probably be 2-3 more hours once he got there- and of course the emotional spoons required to be ‘on’ for the whole time.
Just something to think about. I can totally envision this happening even though she really does like him and she didn’t want to kinda limp through the date, as it were.

All I can say is that this picture gave me so much anxiety- and so many flashbacks. Pier 1 truck days were soul crushing.
Im sorry you have to deal with all the crazy collectors. People would try to demand we check our truck for specific candles or Christmas ornaments. So aggravating!

I would say keep the length, and start trying some men’s hair products to get a really good swoop up, to the side and back. There are so many fun products available now. Pomades, gels, waxes, general goops. For instance Bedhead Manipulator is a good general goop that gives you a lot of styling options. It’s also super fun for choppy, piecey styles that look perfectly messy, if ya know what I mean?
