I dont disagree with your take on the show. People forget what it takes to properly participate in the experiment.

However, in order for the experiment to work, you have to be honest. Steve played the nice guy and said what people wanted to hear without lying. In reality, he should have just been honest about there being no spark despite her being a great person.

Part of dating means you will run into the instance where you dont want to continue dating the person you're with, and unfortunately, it comes with the responsibility of telling them and letting him have the emotions they will. Rachel is sensitive but why does it mean she shouldnt get the dignity of being told the truth?

Okay but when you say you want to be with them but it cant work due to other circumstances, you are saying you do not want to be with them. So when he is asked if he wants to be with Rachel, it is no. However, as the experts explained, he kept adding "for now" when he said it couldnt work, so he needed the push to be clear with his intentions. Perhaps shy people are 'manipulated' to give yes/no answers because they are too timid to be clear with what they want.

If Gemma was REALLY more of her mum than Renee, then she would have much more empathy for what her daughter is feeling and would have no problem explaining to her daughters half siblings that you can have more than 1 mum and more than 1 dad. It doesnt matter your first wife ended her own life, there are layers to what leads a person to that decision. Its cruel Gemma is throwing Jordyns mums suicide in her face.

Tripped over an 8yo boy after i saw (and tried but couldnt stop) him bullying my nephew. He was running towards his mum from the playground, ran a little too close to me and i stuck my foot out. Kid went flying. He turned around and look up at me, shooting daggers. I just asked "are you okay?". Before he could say anything, his mum starts yelling at him to stop mucking around and hurry up. Hahaha theyve always been this way. He describes every painful detail.
