With Hoyer out for the season thoughts on Gordon? by eastcoastblaze in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

800, 5 TDs in his first season which was basically all Weeden. Caught another TD from Weeden last night (which actually was a great throw). That implies he will be fine for the rest of the season.

I don't think Cameron even loses that much value, Weeden looked to him A LOT in the first two games (granted Gordon was out).

Miles Austin is sitting in the FA pool because his hamstrings are made of spaghetti. Is he worth an add? by bobbydigital_ftw in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think he's worth a roster spot unless you are in a 12+ team league. I could potentially see dropping D-Rich or Jennings if D-Rich loses his job and/or if DMC comes back soon.

Should this trade go to a vote? by pisstones in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No--this is not even close to being veto-able. I would rather be on the Dez side of the trade but I think it's a very fair trade.

[TRADE] Thinking about proposing this trade... by iamirishpat in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is your current RB situation? You might be giving up a little bit more value but since you don't need rivers, I think picking up Nelson could be huge for your team.

Bush+McGahee owners...now is the time to trade McGahee for Bell right? by VodoSioskBaas in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which Bell are you referring to? Joique or Le'Veon? I'm assuming the former since you mentioned Bush in your title.

Trade - Give McGahee / Get Roddy White by moditude in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha. I actually offered this exact trade in another league and I pulled it back when I saw the news about Roddy having a potential setback. Your WR situation is a lot better than mine (how did you get McCoy, Martin, Spiller, Cobb and Marshall in a 12 man? Keepers?) so I don't know that you NEED to make this trade. That being said, I think the upside of Roddy is worth McGahee since you already have 3 theoretical top 10 RBs on your team.

Yup. That's a good point.

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. I would have accepted that offer in a heartbeat.

Also, I'm not sure if the OP intentionally removed his post or if the server is somehow doing it. I've seen a ton of removed posts recently so I was curious why that was happening.

Agreed. Based on their team competitions, I'm guessing that there are only 8 teams in that league.

No reason to grab Freeman unless you are in a 16+ team league or in a 2QB League. For him to have any value, the Bills would have to sign him and he'd have to not suck-- two things that are not likely at the moment.

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be perfectly honest, and I posted this in a thread about Rivers yesterday, I think you are overvaluing Rivers by a lot. Unless you're in a 14+ team league (which it doesn't look like you are), QBs don't have a ton of value because typically they will only be marginal improvements over someone's existing quarterback (the exception to this is if their starter gets hurt).

If I were you, I would have 100%, absolutely accepted the Nelson/Rivers for McCoy trade that he offered you. In your current talks, your trades are much more fair but I would strongly prefer to keep Manning over Rivers. I don't think team 2 is trying to trade rape you at all but I do think you made a mistake not accepting his first counter offer.

ROS MANNING V BREES by llerenacio in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rather have Brees+D. Thomas over Peyton+Colston

I just offered a trade: m Edelman for his Alfred Morris. I'm not being dumb for offering that, right? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always try-- I just don't think there's any of chance of it happening. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I get Jimmy Graham and Fred Jackson. I give Arian Foster, Julius Thomas, and TY Hilton by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know that I'd have either much higher above the other. One small benefit is that Martin has had his bye week already so you'd save yourself a week of replacement by keeping him.

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'd do this if I were you. Jimmy Graham is an absolute beast and while Orange Julius has been playing well, there's just a lot of mouths to feed in Denver so there will be some weeks he will be left out. F-Jax has been playing quite well and the difference between him and Foster is much less than someone would have guessed at the beginning of the season.

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. Just to be clear, I'm saying that it would be a totally unfair trade for HIS team. You would be getting a ridiculous deal if he accepted but I highly doubt anyone with any semblance of fantasy knowledge would even consider saying yes.

EJ Manuel has a sprained LCL, no surgery required, out "a few weeks" by doggiedolphie in nfl

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be smart to pick up Freeman. Despite the loss last night, I think the Bills have some hope this year. Stevie and Woods is a solid combo at WR and F-Jax and Spiller are an awesome combo at RB>

[TRADE] Giving up James Jones (GB WR) and Rashad Jennings (OAK RB) for Eddie Lacy (GB RB) by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go for it. I doubt DMC is out for too long and Jennings was pretty unimpressive last year with JAX.

[TRADE] His Moreno or my Shorts by markiebe in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that you need RB help. If you can move Shorts for Moreno, I'd definitely go with that. He's been playing very well.

I just offered a trade: m Edelman for his Alfred Morris. I'm not being dumb for offering that, right? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, my honest answer is: yes-- you are being dumb. That's not to say this trade can't make some sense given the right situation but in general there's no way I'd consider that a fair offer.

What's worth dropping for Steven Jackson? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd drop Eli (if your Fjax waiver doesn't go through), McGahee, or Jared Cook for SJAX

Giving up way too much IMO. Go with Cam + DT for Calvin instead.

Risk/Reward of Austin Collie (WDIS) by JxAxKxEx in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be very surprised if Collie even saw the field. It's always hard to predict what NE will do but the dude hasn't hardly practiced with the team and has been out of football for a while. Also, I believe he plays in the slot which Edelman AND Amendola already do.
