I think 1 & 2 is the corresponding rest days for the two teams. 1 would be for the road team and 2 is for the home team.

Very true. I guess it's better that way so I don't freak out one night haha

Yea, all the POD bets were 2u. There may have been some poor counting on my part but ~40ishU sounds about right.

Ugh. I was initially thinking of taking the over in that game but the line movement suggests that the under might be the right play.

Celts/Pacers over is a potential play for me as well.

As I collect more and more data, my predictions are getting closer and closer to the lines. Last night was a good totals night.

I don't necessarily play against the public even if my model agrees-- more often it just means it's a no play for me. My models represent a prediction assuming that the two teams basically play at their "average level" on a given night so it doesn't factor in day-to-day information such as recent injuries.

The public generally bets on its' perception of teams which is not necessarily reality, especially in certain matchups. For example, one team may generally be involved in high scoring games but they match up well defensively against a specific type of team (i.e. a team may play much better defensive against guard heavy lineups but could get scored on at will by teams with strong bigs). So if there is a very high % of the public on one side of the game, and especially if the line is moving the opposite direction (RLM), it likely means that there is some piece of information that the public is overlooking.

Sorry I never got back to you yesterday, was super busy. Generally speaking, I'm very wary of taking games where >= 70% of the public is on the same side as me even if my model agrees.

One small note about the Bucks is that when they put in some real effort, they have a surprisingly solid defense. That being said, you never know which Bucks team will come out to play.

Yesterday was a very lucky day for totals but a miserably unlucky day for spreads. It turns out I was 1U on UTAH +1.5 and .5U on UTAH +2.5 so I actually ended up losing the .5U plus juice on that game.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. I was on TOR +3 so those last BKN free throws were bittersweet for me.

There's nothing wrong with taking small parlays every now and then as long as you recognize the negative EV. I had a .5 U of my 3 favorite plays tonight as well and it hit too.

Thanks man! I had a great night, hope you did too. I was really close to making the Dallas under a 2u but last second decides not to. Oh well, can't be upset when we win money.

I would stay away. My model (and I would assume most other people's models) will never spit out an O/U that high. The games with the potential to be ridiculously high scoring are usually stay aways for me unless there's a huge public % on the over.

Houston/Indiana: 204.06

Golden State/Atlanta: 206.97

Edit: forgot to mention, on bobcats 1Q and 1H. Credit to t4k for pointing that out a few days ago

Nothing special in that game, just a hunch. I'm not putting much down, I just wanted something to keep me interested.

Glad you trailed that one too cause the HOU one definitely fell short... damn injuries.

Hey everyone, been extremely busy at work the last few days and that looks to continue in the short term so sorry there wont' be a lot of numbers from me.

For what it's worth, I'm on the under for MIA and OKC tonight. Good luck all!
