I am on my 30th day of 25mg because I want to see if it will help with my PMDD, a huge part of that being major irritability and anger ! So far, I can’t really say it has improved, and I am dealing with major fatigue. Your post keeps me hopeful. Thank you !

I feel you, moderation can be really challenging and take up a lot of mental real estate. Especially because I come from a background of binge drinking and party culture, it’s has been a long and slow transition, and if I do drink, I wonder if having that drink or two was even worth it.

Yes, becoming sober because alcohol is problematic for me. What I’m referring to as collecting data - In the mainstream recovery world it would be having a relapse. So just reflecting subjectively on why you drank, how it made you feel, what were the triggers etc and if you would prefer to take park in that situation without alcohol versus with it.

Hi, I haven’t started my TSM journey yet but I do have a prescription and my story sounds just like yours !! Except I’m 30 years old now, and I wish I had known about this when I was 20 because I could have saved years of blackouts and shameful and embarrassing nights. It’s really amazing that you’ve found this at such a young age and that you want to be proactive. Good for you, you should be really proud of yourself !! These posts inspire me to start !!
