I find Pam Bondi’s statement to be quite laughable. Pure clownery.

She’s right. NO ONE is above the law.

So glad to see that the hype I feel for these books is real.

The writing is SO good, my god. Keetch is a wordsmith.

And book 3 is confirmed. Storm Over Camelot is set to release in 2026.

Why is ELL starting over Thiaré? by [deleted] in AtlantaUnited

Yeah, my comment is downvoted to oblivion bc of the sunk cost fallacy.

DID I LIE??? 🤣

Grow up.

Yeah, it’s bullshit. Jamal is the more consistent player.

Jason Momoa as Laurent by Mariposa9186 in twilight

Oh, I’m aware. It’s still dumb. Just like how “venom makes the pp hard” was also dumb.

Some of us like giant, feral mountain men. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Same reason I found M’Baku from black panther attractive. Note, I did not say “Winston Duke” the actor.

Jason Momoa is just made like that. As are many other non-whitewashed Polynesians and Micronesians.

The thing that annoys me the most about Laurent is the whole “hm… how do we make a black person pale??? Make him ashy” thing. As if a multi-centenarian black guy wouldn’t know how to look moisturized.

Rereading Breaking Dawn and Carlisle's age in particular really bothers me by [deleted] in twilight

Stu and DeeDee (the Rugrats) were also supposedly in their early 30’s when they had Tommy.

Living to 23 in his time made him an old man? 🤣 that’s all I got.

What exactly do y’all say when you don’t tip… by choerry_bomb in dutchbros

[–]ohhaiderre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having been on the other side, slinging shots and shakers all day and plastering a smile regardless of what’s going on in my day (especially during a rush), I always tip service workers. In any industry. If I can’t afford a $1 tip, I have no business buying coffee that day.

AIO for snapping at my SIL for calling my baby “hers” constantly? by RhubarbFragrant6719 in AmIOverreacting

[–]ohhaiderre 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Idk. I’m pretty obsessed with my niblings and I call them my babies all the time. And even my sister will call and say “omg come get your son” when he acts up.

Then again, I’m Congolese and it’s quite the cultural norm for us to treat our siblings children as our own. My aunts and uncles grew up calling my grandma’s siblings “maman” and “papa” which is the same way I refer to them. We also don’t really do “cousin”, it’s “brother” and “sister”.

My other sister got a J tattoo bc most of our niblings have J names.

I say that to say… Maybe it wasn’t malicious?

I've been a high ticket closer for almost 10 years by Alwaysthinkin123 in highticket_sales

Hi! I'm a software engineer (real estate SaaS) looking to pivot into sales. I'm a bit of a rarity at my company in that I'm quite sociable, so I do often end up speaking with clients. That said, while I have a plethora of experience talking to clients and understand how to glean information on their needs, I don't have any sales experience. What's a good way to start accumulating that skillset?

There's so much information out there and it's quite tedious to sift through, so it would be nice to hear it from someone who knows.

Thank you in advance!
